BREATHE OUT

by: Michele-Lyn Ault

What is in your heart to do? How often have you been inspired to do something, whether it be create, give something away, share your story, build something, teach, start, write a book, or any something like it and you didn’t, but it is still in you?

What holds us back from doing what is in our hearts? It could be fear, uncertainty, insecurity, busyness that try and hinder us. Often we push those things away, as if what is in our heart to do is less important. It isn’t.

To inspire is to fill with the urge or ability to do something, especially original and creative. It also means to infuse or fill by breathing. God inspires us, breathes into us by His Spirit, fills our hearts with His desire and will, and He has already given us permission to exhale. Breathe out what God has breathed in.

“Go, do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.” {2 Samuel 7:3}
