HE MAKES US NEW

Sometimes we look back on our life and lament over the failures, over the mistakes, over the bad choices, and discouragement weighs us down the point we wonder, “Why bother trying again?”

In those moments we can sink into a deep, hidden pit of despair and depression. That’s where the devil would love to have us. Or we can come out with unveiled face, offering our broken pieces, nothing between us and God. Our faces shining with the brightness of His face, and being transformed—our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become more like Him. And watch Him make us new. {2 Corinthians 3:18}

The multiplied beauty of giving ourselves another chance, of allowing ourself grace, is then we are more able to see others through grace eyes, and give them the chance they need to begin again.
