WE ARE BECOMING

by: Ashlie Oestreich

“I see you, Daughter. I see that you are seeking. I see that you are knee deep in roles I’ve given you, caught in that tension between juggling and embracing. I see you sorting through all the things to see what is from Me and what is not—because you sense My call.
I see your heart that wants to obey the call but is overwhelmed with the choices. You are afraid to choose the wrong thing.

I see you itching to run. You feel the call to go, to begin. But you are confused because you cannot leave the roles in which I’ve placed you. Kids. Family. Job. Needs. You’ve cried out in frustration and tears, ‘What does that mean?’

You sense the call is urgent, because it is. You know time is short, because I am coming soon. But, Daughter, you are so busy sorting, asking, trying hard to discern that You does not see Me standing close. Right here next to you. I’m waiting, offering peace and grace, but My call is firm:

My daughter, look up. Open your eyes. I have already placed you in a field, given you a flock, a harvest to reap. Do you not see? Your calling is not far off. It is in the HERE and NOW. Open your eyes.” {John 4:35}
