I DO NOT SEE GOD YET I TRUST HIM

by: Meredith Bernard

Somedays are just foggy, you know? Some months, seasons, even years of life are just down right hard to see through. Doubt. Loss of direction. Fear. All that and then some make it hard to see or at best, hard to follow. Because what if we take the wrong step? What if something bad — worse than where we are today or where we were yesterday — is coming? What then? As much as God is there when the fog lifts, He is in the fog.

We can trust the great I AM to ALWAYS BE. Even when we can’t sense Him, He’s there. He’s working in and through our dark to bring the Light — to BE our Light. And the Light always shines brightest after the dark.

I’ve been the sought after and I’ve been the seeker. In all and through all, He’s never let me down and He never will you. And those wrong steps? Yeah, I’ve made my share. But God — and only God — moves mountains and parts seas to make them right. In His perfect time, perfect will and perfect way. And that’s enough to praise Him forever for, right there.

Seek and find.
Trust and obey.
Be filled and pour out.
Praise Him in the fog for the clearing that is sure to come.

“You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.” 1 Peter 1:8 NLT
